The registration fee entitles participants to the following:

• Access to all scientific sessions and poster viewing (including Pre-Congress Meeting for those accepted, see below)
• Congress kit
• Coffee breaks, box lunch on 22 September and buffet lunch on 23 September, 2 buffet dinners (21 and 22 September).

The social dinner and the excursion to the temples are not included in the fee (see the costs below). If you wish to attend the dinner and/or the excursion, please select them during the payment procedure.

The early bird discount applies to payments received until 7 July 2023. Registrations will remain open until 20 July 2023 at the regular price.
N.B. Payments must be received within each deadline indicated (if you are paying by bank transfer or through your administration, please ensure that it is initiated in due time).

Payment is possible by credit card or bank transfer. Further details about the payment procedure is available through your personal myABCD2023 area. Normally, invoices or receipts (for VAT exempt payments) will be issued and sent to participants after payment.

Before processing the payment, please determine wheter you have specific billing requirements.
Please decide to whom your registration costs must be billed to and make sure that you have all the required information: address, VAT number or fiscal code (codice fiscale, for Italians only), etc.
ABCD will be unable to modify the invoice should the details provided be incorrect or outdated.

Electronic invoicing for Italian public administrations (only for non ABCD members!)

If the invoice has to be issued to an office of the Italian public administration (e.g., your Department, your University, etc), you need to follow the procedure for electronic invoicing for PA (Pubblica Amministrazione): in this case, before proceeding with the payment, contact the ABCD secretariat at segreteria@abcd-it.org to receive further instructions.

Payment must be made by the public administration/institution upon receiving the electronic invoice issued by the ABCD and before the payment deadline; please take administrative delays into account.

Cancellation policy

Cancellations with a refund request must be sent by e-mail to the secretariat and must be accompanied by a valid justification. Refunds will be decided case by case by the organising secretariat. If accepted, cancellations by 20 July 2023 will be refunded fully minus an administrative charge of 30 EUR; no refunds will be provided after 20 July 2023.

Abstracts are accepted exclusively through this website, through your personal myABCD2023 area, you will need to to have an account to have access to the latter.

The abstract submission deadline is 7 July 2023. The organisers will then review the received abstracts for oral or poster presentations. All submitted abstracts will be discarded if payment is not received by 20 July 2023.

Only registered participants can submit an abstract and each registered participant may submit a maximum of one abstract. Abstracts should be submitted by the presenting author only.

Title
The title must start in uppercase and continue in lowercase, except for conventional terms (ATP, DNA, NFκB, etc). Example:

Authorship
If more than one author (but only in that case), underline your name (the presenting author, in whatever position you appear in the author list) and use commas to separate the author names; do not use 'and' before the last author. Write your name and surname in full; for any other authors use initial(s) for the first name(s) followed by the surname. If more than one affiliation (but only in that case), use sequential superscript numbers to identify each institution. Example:

Keep the abstract text to within 2000 characters, spaces included (this is roughly equivalent to 250 words).

The Congress registration fee (see Registrations & Costs) covers the attendance of the Pre-Congress Meeting for those accepted; dinner on Wednesday, 20 September, and box lunch on Thursday, 21 September, are also included. To apply, you must be a post-doc or a Ph.D. student and be under 35 years of age at the start of the congress. You must indicate your intention to participate during the registration procedure.
